Activities and meals

We are quickly approaching the Feast of Tabernacles, and the registration for the holy day buffet lunches and the family day dinner buffet at the “Last Territory” are going well.

The menus for these three events can be found at Meals at the Hilton. The price is inclusive, meaning all taxes, service fees and gratuities are included.

The link to the registration page is https://feast.cogwa.org/uploads/Tucson_Ticket_Order_Form_2022.pdf. Be sure to also register for the golf scramble or Funtasticks, if you are interested in attending.

Hilton rooms and activity sign-up

Due to the high response for rooms this year at the Hilton, they are no longer able to add any rooms at the Church’s discounted rate, but can still book at the regular rate.

We also want to remind everyone to register for the activities and meals in Tucson if you plan to attend. We have a lunch buffet at the beginning and end of the Feast, a family day dinner at the “Last Territory” with karaoke afterward (everyone is welcome to attend, even if they don’t partake in the BBQ). We also have an activity at Funtasticks again for our teens, and anyone else who would like to enjoy the day at the fun park. Finally we have the Golf Scramble, and we are hoping to have six teams of four, so please register as soon as possible to ensure a place in the tournament. They would like to have our final numbers by Monday, Sept. 12. Please include on your form if you have specific team you prefer to golf with.

Please follow this link to the activity sign-up form.

Festival housing

Greetings to our Tucson Feast of Tabernacles registrants,

This year our venue is the Hilton El Conquistador, and we have more than filled the room block that we established in January. The Hilton is unable to add any additional rooms at this time unless we add them to our contract as an addendum.

Therefore, if you have not yet booked at the Hilton, but would like to stay there, please email me directly at [email protected]. I will work with the hotel as long as there is availability.

We look forward to a wonderful Feast, and a large number staying at the event venue.

As we continue to plan for the Feast in Tucson there may be a need for Spanish translation. If you’d like to volunteer to help in this area, please email the coordinator at [email protected]. Thank you!

Site Description

Tucson, Arizona, will once again be the Feast of Tabernacles site for the Southwest region.

This year we will be meeting at a new location, the Hilton El Conquistador. The resort has been awarded AAA’s prestigious four-diamond rating 34 years in a row.

This is a luxurious and comfortable resort, with over 500 acres nestled up against the mountains, and is a peaceful setting designed for relaxation, entertainment and fellowship. This Hilton offers not only wonderful meeting space, but beautiful rooms, gift shops and restaurants on the premises. It offers outdoor pools, an on-site spa, tennis courts, a corral for Family Day and a picturesque golf course that will host our annual Feast golf scramble.

Services will be held on-site in the beautiful Turquoise Ballroom. Those staying at the resort will enjoy not only a beautiful room and view, but also a walk to services and other activities. The Hilton has offered our members tremendously discounted rooms and has included the resort fee and parking fees.

Tucson itself offers many options in entertainment. The famous Tombstone, Arizona, is only a short drive to the south. And the well-known Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a short drive to the west. Tucson is also home to jeep or Hummer desert tours, desert hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, Funtasticks fun park, museums or simply driving up beautiful Mount Lemmon.

Tucson has numerous dining choices, including the popular Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse (with its own outdoor shops and fun shows—going back decades for members), as well as Fleming’s Steakhouse, Churrasco de Brasil steakhouse, Blue Ice Gelato, sushi, pubs, Topgolf and many more.

Enjoy this beautiful desert site in Tucson this year, and bring the old West back to life again with those celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles as the family of God!

Fragrance-controlled room available: No.

Tax rate for accommodations: 14.55 percent.
