Site Description
It has been some time since we have had a Feast site in the United Kingdom, and we are pleased to announce that Bournemouth Beach will be our Festival location in the British Isles.
This year we will host up to 300 members at the oceanfront Royal Bath Hotel and Spa in Bournemouth. The hotel was established in 1838 and has a historical flair, paired with modern amenities. The hotel sits directly on the coast and is only a 10-minute walk from the Victorian Bournemouth Pier, which can be seen from the hotel. The famous Canford Cliffs Beach is only 4.1 kilometers away.
The rooms are spacious and very well-priced for our group. There are a variety of rooms, from single, double, executive, sea-view and double suites, as well as a few family suites and, depending upon availability, some connecting rooms. The price also includes a full breakfast buffet. We have a large block of rooms to cover those who want to stay on-site.
Daily services will be held in the easily accessible Kings Hall of the venue. There are numerous places in the venue to fellowship, dine or simply relax.
One could arrive at the Feast without a car and walk to local restaurants, entertainment or the beach. There are plenty of things to do in the area, including the Bournemouth Pier, which has a pier-to-beach zipline. The Oceanarium is just steps away. There are galleries and museums, mini-golf, a Ferris wheel, bike hires, paddleboards or kayaks. Visit one of the Dorset beaches, or visit Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door along the Jurassic Coast. There are five shopping malls, boat rides and more.
Organized activities will include a teen beach party, a seniors’ luncheon and a private charter bus to Stonehenge, located only an hour’s drive away.
