Tucson activities
Greetings Tucson Feast-goers,
The deadline for “mailing” Festival activity registrations has past, but you can still register for activities and meals.
There are a number that indicated they were joining certain meals, the teen activity or the golf scramble, but have not yet registered.
At this point, if you have not mailed payment already, please DO NOT mail any payments, as it may not reach us in time for the Feast.
What you can do, is EMAIL me a copy of your registration at [email protected], and take care of payment at the business office at the Feast.
Any who still want to join the first holy day buffet must inform me BEFORE the Feast of Tabernacles. The other events can be added “at the Feast,” but only upon availability.
Thanks in advance!

Buffets and activity registration
Greetings,
The Feast of Tabernacles is only a matter of weeks away. Please read the following announcements to understand the venue and events to take place. The buffets add to the members ability to stay at the resort for lunch without having to rush out and back. The cost of the buffets would be higher, but we negotiated the same rates as we had in 2020 and 2021.
The Family Day Buffet at the Coyote Corral is a fun way to enjoy dinner and the evening after the Sabbath. The cost would have been closer to $150, but they gave us a discounted rate to be able to have more people to enjoy this unique setting at the resort. We will have a cash bar for the evening, and karaoke after dinner.
The activity registration form for all activities is linked here. Please try to return the forms before Sept. 30. See also the Tucson Feast page for the activity descriptions and schedule.
The Loews Ventana still has plenty of space for housing. IF you still need to book a room for the Feast, please contact me with your name and email and we will make sure you get a room.
We are still in need of translators for Spanish translation! If you can help out, please email me at [email protected].
There are two buffets offered during the Feast on both the first holy day, and the Last Great Day. Unlike the past when they were on the Kiva Patio, these buffets will be inside the Kiva Ballroom in the air-conditioned space.
The Family Day Buffet for dinner is a little more expensive, but is in a unique setting, and will provide a great place to be able to fellowship and enjoy an evening of dinner, karaoke and fun. If not coming for dinner, please join us afterward for the activities.
First Holy Day Buffet includes:

Housing reminder
Greetings!
It has come to our attention that few have received the announcements about regular housing, which began last week, June 17.
Please feel free to make your reservations for the Feast of Tabernacles at the Loews Ventana, the Hampton Inn, or if you are booking outside the list. Here are a couple items to remember:
- The Loews Ventana does not have any suites available on Oct. 15 (the day before the Feast) but does for opening night through the remainder of the Feast (based on availability).
- For the Hampton Inn, (to make reservations easier) they request that we call their venue directly to book. The number is 520-618-8000.
Have a wonderful week!
Warmly,
Paul Carter

Loews Ventana renovations
The Loews Ventana has let us know that they are going through renovations this summer and most of it will be done by the time we arrive. What this means for those planning to stay at the Loews Ventana is large showers (replacing the large bathtubs), which will also help with handicap rooms. They are also improving the hallways in several wings. Renovations are scheduled to be done in November, which we are told will help our group this year and next.
Housing is not far away, and we hope as many as possible will take advantage of the greatly discounted rates that are offered, and enjoy the fellowship of being together in a beautiful venue on the grounds of the Loews Ventana Resort.
Warmly,
Paul Carter

Site Description
The Southwest region is returning to Tucson, Arizona, for the 2024 Feast of Tabernacles!
The Loews Ventana Canyon Resort has requested our return. This is a beautiful four-star resort nestled in the canyon and is a quiet setting designed for relaxation, entertainment and fellowship. Loews offers us not only a wonderful meeting space, but beautifully appointed rooms, gift shops, a bistro, four restaurants on premises, outdoor pools, an on-site spa, tennis courts, and two wonderful but challenging golf courses.
Services will be on location in the Kiva Ballroom of the Loews Resort, so those staying at the resort will enjoy not only a beautiful room and view, but also an easy walk to services and other activities. The Loews has offered our members tremendously discounted rooms and has waived the resort fee and parking fees. The rates for this wonderful venue are equal to or less than the rates of most hotels in the valley, yet it is a top-notch resort!
Tucson offers many options in entertainment. The famous Tombstone, Arizona, is only a short drive to the south, and the well-known Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a short drive to the west. Tucson also offers jeep or Hummer desert tours, which have been popular in past years, as well as hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, Funtasticks fun park, or simply driving to beautiful Mount Lemmon.
Tucson has numerous dining choices, including breweries, custom burger places, steakhouses, Italian restaurants and wonderful Mexican cuisine. Close by the Loews is Blue Ice Gelato, and not far away are two malls, Topgolf and the aviation museum.
Enjoy this beautiful Western Feast site, and watch it come to life once again with those of us celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in 2024.
