The Church of God, a Worldwide Association, in the Philippines is delighted to announce that this year’s Feast of Tabernacles will be held at Mergrande Ocean Resort, an oceanfront facility located in Bago Aplaya, Davao City. Mergrande Ocean Resort offers an Eco farm featuring a koi pond, tortoises and an abundance of bird species, providing a unique and relaxing environment for all attendees.
Davao City is renowned as the most livable city in the country, strategically situated in a typhoon-free area. The resort is conveniently near the large SM Ecoland Mall and a range of hotel accommodations, making travel and stay hassle-free. The location is about a 30-minute drive from the airport, passing through the picturesque, newly built Bucana Bridge and coastal access road.
In late-September and early-October, expect warm weather with temperatures around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Aside from Feast scheduled activities, there are plenty of city destinations to enjoy, including a bird show at the Crocodile Farm, which is highly recommended to all young and old and is free for seniors every Tuesday.
Full board option is offered, so guests can choose from three types of cottages: The Captain Pirate, The Fisherman and The Pirate cottages. Each cottage can host 5-6 participants and is equipped with air conditioning units and hot showers for your comfort.
