Site Description
The Feast of Tabernacles for 2026 will once again be held at, Gonubie (East London), a small coastal town on the south east coast of South Africa. Church services will be held at the Thistlewoods Wedding and Conference Centre in Gonubie. The local airport is approximately 26 kilometres (about 16 miles) from the venue and there are various car hire companies available at the airport. The East London area, including Gonubie, has beautiful, sandy beaches and the warm Indian Ocean for swimming. The subtropical climate ensures that temperatures throughout the year are mild to warm. There are various grocery stores, shopping centres and restaurants within a 15 kilometre radius (about a nine-mile radius).
Activities include bathing at beautiful beaches up and down the coast, two private game reserves, abseiling, boat cruises, whale watching, horse riding, etc.
There are various establishments available in the Gonubie area, but accommodations can also be found in the following areas that are within 15 kilometres (about nine miles) of the venue for services - Beacon Bay (East London), Stirling (East London), Nahoon (East London), Vincent (East London) and Vincent Heights (East London).
