Paul Suckling ·

1. Remind us why we are here, God's commands.
2. We have 8 days and 14 messages to help us focus on our future potential. We have been "called out" and must continue along the road of growth, building on our foundation.
3. Good intentions are not enough; actions are required.

Dedicating The Temple

Jim Franks ·

Solomon dedicated the temple and God entered the temple just before and during the Feast of Tabernacles. Paul referred to the Church as the temple of God. The Feast of Tabernacles should be a time for us to dedicate or re-dedicate ourselves to God. The story of Solomon's dedication as told in the book of 2 Chronicles reveals a plan of action for every Christian today.

What is the Kingdom?

Doug Johnson ·

What is the Kingdom of God? Is it exactly the same as the Millennium? Or are they very closely entwined, but with distinct meanings? God's Word makes the answers clear, and the Feast of Tabernacles is an excellent time to be sure we know the difference.

Are You a Pilgrim or a Puritan?

Britton Taylor ·

This year the Feast of Tabernacles begins on the same day that Americans celebrate Columbus Day and the discovery of the New World. As New Testament Christians, what is our purpose for wanting to be apart of the New World that this Feast of Tabernacles pictures? Should we have the approach of the Puritan or the Pilgrim? This sermon addresses the life we should lead as we prepare for the New World of the soon coming Kingdom of God.

Ascent to Jerusalem

Jack Hendren ·

The Feast of Tabernacles temporary dwellings teach we have limited time to prepare for the kingdom. Let us keep this feast remembering the future is near and we have a goal… to become “a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:13)

Are You Driven or Drawn to the Kingdom?

Bill Johnson ·

David Breashears, a mountain climber, said, "As a mountain climber, I've always felt more drawn to the top than driven from the bottom." As a Christian we tend to be driven to God when trials and difficulties come upon us. God wants us to be drawn to Him constantly in a deep relationship based on love. When we are prepared, committed, and have the vision of God's plan, we will be drawn to the Kingdom of God.

It’s Done

Jim Franks ·

Meaning of the Last Great Day. The title is actually found in the book of Revelation. Revelation 10:6; and Revelation 21:5-6 “Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." And He said to me, "It is done!" There is coming a day when God’s plan will be complete. The 8th day of the Feast, the Last Great Day will be fulfilled when these words are announced: It is done!
