Keys to a Wonderful Feast

Ken Treybig ·

There are many keys to ensuring we have a wonderful experience keeping God's commanded Feast. Here are three of them, beginning with the letters we often use to refer to this 8-day festival--FOT. If we remember and focus on these keys during the Feast we can help make sure we are blessed with a terrific Feast. The three points are Fellowship with our spiritual family, use Opportunities to serve the household of God and have a Teachable spirit.

They Shall Learn War No More

David Johnson ·

God's feasts are not only a reminder of the basic steps of His plan of salvation, they are also reminders of His promises to humanity. War has been a scourge in the history of humans, but the Feast of Tabernacles reminds us of the promise that war will be eradiated as the Millennium begins.

Who Is God?

Tom Kirkpatrick ·

We look at God's self-description--His self-definition from the Scriptures. Human reasoning and philosophizing, and the statements of other "sacred" texts are not relevant. Only the truths of the Bible are a trusworthy answer to the question, "Who is God?"

The First Days of the World Tomorrow

Isaiah 60-62 describes in stunning detail a glimpse of what the opening days of the World Tomorrow will be like. Light Will Prevail Over Darkness

Answers to the Questions of the Formerly Dead

Tom Kirkpatrick ·

We look at the types of questions the formerly dead, who are resurrected in the times pictured by this day (the Last Great Day) will ask us. We should be prepared to answer them from the Scriptures.

Looking Forward by Looking Back

David Johnson ·

At the end of the White Throne Judgement the last physical human beings will have had their opportunity to choose God's way. Lookng back over the centuries of God's faithful accomplishing of His plan can give us great hope as we look forward to what lies ahead at the conclusion of this phase of His plan. The annual holy day cycle is a powerful proclamation of God's faithfulness.
