Feast Youth Lessons

Welcome to the Church of God, a Worldwide Association’s Youth Instruction (CYI) Fall Feast Instruction Lesson page.  Unlike the Fall Festival activity books of the past, we have taken a different approach this year.  We have prepared lessons on the topic of each of the four fall holy days for use by church families/parents in teaching their children God’s truth and His way of life.  Our desire it to help parents fulfill the biblical instruction found in Deuteronomy 6:6-7 – “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”

These Fall Festival lessons are designed for use in a family setting where parents can instruct their children in God’s plan through the holydays.  We encourage parents to read through each lesson with their children then reinforce and elaborate on the lesson with age-appropriate supplemental material and activities such as coloring, drawing, word games, fill-in the blanks, discussion, further research, etc.  These will be found through the links beneath each lesson.  Parents are asked to determine which of the various supplemental materials are best for your children and their needs.

For your convenience, we have posted here the overview of the fall holy days and four holy day lessons – the Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day.  Each lesson has a scripture discussion to accompany the lesson.  Be sure to download this important part of the lesson.  There are also various activities, puzzles and word games that supplement each lesson.  Simply right click on the description and select "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" to download the file.
