Ekklesia and the Kingdom

Kevin Epps – October 21, 2016

“Ecclesiastes” is related to the Greek word for “church,” which many of us are familiar with, i.e. ekklesia. Scholars have noted that this title points to one of three things: 1) the one who calls the assembly/ekklesia, 2) the teacher of the assembly/ekklesia or, 3) the people in the assembly.
But we're not restricted to just one application, as all three meanings can apply to this book and to God’s kingdom.
