Site Description

The Opal Cove Resort in Coffs Harbour offers a variety of accommodation styles, from resort rooms to villas. The resort has its own private beach, nine-hole golf course and a variety of activities for the whole family.

Coffs Harbour offers a relaxed, family-oriented setting in which to observe and celebrate this year’s Feast of Tabernacles!

Coffs Harbour is a coastal city located where the mountains meet the sea, some 540 kilometers (340 miles) north of Sydney and about 440 kilometers (275 miles) south of Brisbane. The Coffs Harbour Regional Airport is regularly serviced by Qantas and Virgin Australia Airlines, with multiple flights each day to and from Sydney and Brisbane. Bus and train transportation are also available from both Sydney and Brisbane.

At this time of year, the average high temperature is 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit), and the average low is 14 Celsius (57 Fahrenheit).

The area offers a range of experiences, from pristine golden beaches, spectacular river valley landscape and the Solitary Islands Marine Park (which is home to over 500 species of fish) to rain forests and the mountain plateau of Dorrigo, with its incredible skywalk over the rain forest.

Local activities are plentiful and varied with Segway tours, camel rides along the beach, the iconic Big Banana fun park, Jet Skis, as well as reef and game fishing tours.

You will be spoiled with a choice of eating experiences—from à la carte restaurants to alfresco dining, bistros and clubs.

Taxes: GST 10 percent tax on most purchased items.
